PROGRAM

WHAT is the ATHLETES COMBATING RACISM
mentorship program

A program designed to combat racism by providing mentorship and guidance to youth and young adults to help them navigate the world around them in spite of structural racism, and ultimately dismantle those structures.

WHAT IS THE GOAL?

The mentorship program focuses on connecting youth with a mentor that can help create their path to success by assisting in shaping a set of tailored personal and/or professional goals. The program aims to connect mentors with youth on a personal level and intends to foster real conversations on the various parts of an individual that make them uniquely themselves, including their race in the context of the environment they are in and realities they are facing.
